Seven & 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners

I really enjoyed viewing this power point, especially because I am starting the new year.  I like to set my goals during three periods of the year, the first being January to about the end of April, May to August, and September to December.  When I set these goals for smaller amounts of time, I feel like I can see the end of the tunnel, and justified in reassessing, discarding and/or adjusting them as each new season arrives.
There is one goal that I am having a very hard time with, and that is regularly being a part of social media.  I believe this is because I often view it as a 'time pirate' with so many other things I need to accomplish.  On the other-hand I believe this can be a great way to connect with other people and know what is going on around me and definitely help me as a future librarian.  My husband, close family and friends laugh when I talk about trying to get on my face book page.  I set up a Facebook account a few years ago, was on it once for the first year, twice the second year, and this year I have been on in twice in January.  I am getting better(ha ha ha), yet I would like to make a goal of getting on it once a week for the next few months.
